The article examines the strengthening of the Turkic factor in Egypt after the rise to power in the second half of the 13th century of Mamluk sultans, who originated from Kipchak and Oghuz tribes. The influence of the Turkic factor affected not only the socio-political, but also the cultural and literary life of the country. A whole layer of Turkic-language fiction and scientific literature was created, which has survived to this day.

В статье рассматривается усиление тюркского фактора в Египте после прихода к власти во второй половине XIII века мамлюкских султанов, выходцев из хипчакских и огузских племён. Влияние тюркского фактора затронуло не только социально- политическую, но и культурно-литературную жизнь страны. Был создан целый пласт тюркоязычной художественной и научной литературы, дошедшей до наших дней.
