There  are  even  voices  claiming  the  necessity  of  totally  discarding  traditional 
language-focused ESP teaching as obsolete in favour of integrated learning (Tarnopolsky, 
2013). For instance, Bicknell (2009) posed the question of why we should teach Business 
English  traditionally  if  integrated  teaching  can do  it much more  efficiently  (as  cited  in 
Tarnopolsky, 2013).
