The article shows the necessity of application of irrigation systems, power supply, control and automation of hydraulic structures and pumping stations of noncontact conversion and measurement of large direct currents with the help of effective information measuring magnetomodulation noncontact ferromagnetic converters for the needs of amelioration and irrigation in the electric power industry, and results are presented on the development of such converters
