This article presents methods for calculating and reducing yarn waste on winding machines, warping, dressing and knotting machines of cotton and cotton products. The analysis of the operation of winding, warping, dressing and knotting machines and their filling parameters, ways of costs and expensive usage of yarn, taking into account the length of threads and the size of packages of various types of technological machines.
