The purpose of this study was to evaluate the associative relationships of biochemical indices of the inflammatory process with the virus C genotypes in patients with chronic hepatitis in representatives of the Uzbek population. The subject of the study were patients with HCV-infection and cirrhosis of the liver, as well as healthy donors, in which DNA samples were obtained. Specific features of the clinical course and association of the genotype of virus C with biochemical indices for different severity of the course of CVHC were determined.
