The article analyzes the risk factors for chronic pancreatitis with associated pathologies of the gastrointestinal tract and other internal organs. The main factors for the development of the disease are alcohol abuse, diseases of the stomach, duodenum, liver. In order to prevent complications in a timely manner and to diagnose exocrine and endocrine insufficiency in time, it became necessary to analyze in more detail the possible aspects causing aggravation and complications in patients with chronic pancreatitis
