The Maturiddiya

The journal Moturidiylik accepts original scholarly articles from local and international researchers in the fields of Islamic theology, Maturidism, kalam, Islamic philosophy, and the history and contemporary development of Islamic thought.

Manuscripts are accepted in Uzbek, English, Arabic, Turkish, and Russian.

✅ Open Access and License

This journal is a fully open access journal. All published articles are freely available online without subscription or registration.

Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) .

Authors retain copyright of their work.

✅ Peer Review and Ethics

1. All manuscripts are subjected to a double-blind peer review process involving at least two independent reviewers.
2. All submissions are screened for plagiarism using appropriate anti-plagiarism software.
3. Ethical standards are followed in accordance with international publication ethics. Authors must declare any conflict of interest.

✅ Article Structure

Each manuscript should include the following elements:

1. Title in Uzbek, Russian, and English
2. Abstract (200–250 words)
3. Keywords (8–10 words)
4. Introduction
5. Methods
6. Results and Discussion
7. Conclusion
8. References (minimum 30 sources)

The recommended length of the article is not less than 15 pages.

✅ Formatting Requirements

1. File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
2. Font: Times New Roman
3. Font size: 14 pt
4. Line spacing: 1.5
5. Margins: Standard

✅ Author Information

The manuscript must include the following information for each author:

1. Full name
2. Institutional affiliation
3. Position and academic degree
4. Country
5. ORCID (if available)
6. Email address

✅ Citation and References

In-text citations should follow the author–date format, for example: (Islomov, 2019, p. 8)

The reference list must be arranged alphabetically and include:

1. Author’s name
2. Title of the work
3. Place of publication and publisher
4. Year of publication

At least 25 local sources and 6 international sources are recommended.

✅ Article Processing Charges

The journal charges an article publication fee as described on the Author Fee page .

Payment of publication fees does not influence the editorial decision, which is based solely on academic merit.

✅ Archiving and Indexing

Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit their published articles in institutional repositories and personal websites with proper citation of the original publication.
