The scientific journal “Al-Bukhari” was established in 2022. The journal publishes articles in Uzbek, English, and Russian that present completed research results in philology and history—considered the main areas of Oriental studies—by scholars from Uzbekistan, Central Asian countries, fraternal Turkic states, and other foreign countries, as well as scientific innovations, hypotheses, theories, and analytical opinions.

In accordance with Resolution No. 360/5 of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission dated August 28, 2024, the journal has been included in the list of national scientific publications recommended for publishing the research results of dissertations submitted for the degrees of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Doctor of Science (DSc) in history and philology.

In addition, researchers, academic staff, and independent scholars from any relevant universities or institutes in Uzbekistan and abroad may submit their articles.
