Guidelines for Authors

The Journal of Future publishes high-quality original scientific articles covering a wide range of academic disciplines and reflecting advanced directions of modern research. The journal follows international standards of scientific publishing and adheres to best practices recommended by COPE.

Scope of the Journal

Multidisciplinary research.

Types of Manuscripts

The journal accepts the following types of submissions:

Original research articles, review articles, short communications, conference proceedings (special issues).

Submission Requirements

Manuscripts must be:

-         Original and not previously published;

-         Not under consideration by other journals;

-         Written in clear academic English;

-         Prepared in accordance with the journal template.

All materials must be submitted through the online system (OJS).

Manuscript Structure

Authors should prepare manuscripts according to the IMRAD format:

Title

Abstract (150–250 words)

Keywords (5–7 words)

Introduction

Materials and Methods

Results and Discussion

Conclusion

Acknowledgements (if applicable)

References

Formatting Requirements

File format: MS Word (.docx) or LaTeX

Font: Times New Roman, 11–12 pt

Line spacing: 1.15–1.5

Margins: 2–2.5 cm

Figures and tables must be embedded in the text and numbered sequentially

All figures must be of high resolution (at least 300 dpi)

Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should:

Clearly reflect the purpose, methods, results, and conclusions;

Be concise and informative;

Avoid references and abbreviations where possible.

Keywords should reflect the main content of the article and facilitate its discoverability.

References

References must be:

Relevant and up to date;

Formatted consistently (APA, Vancouver, or journal style);

Include DOI where possible.

Authors are encouraged to cite international literature indexed in Scopus and Web of Science.

Ethical Requirements

Authors must adhere to publication ethics standards:

No plagiarism, fabrication, or falsification of data;

Proper attribution of authorship;

Disclosure of conflicts of interest;

Obtaining ethical approval for studies involving humans or animals.

The journal follows COPE recommendations.

Plagiarism Screening Policy

All submissions are checked using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with similarity levels exceeding acceptable limits may be rejected.

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review by at least two independent experts.

Revision Process

Authors must:

Respond to all reviewers’ comments;

Provide a revised version of the manuscript with tracked changes;

Submit a detailed response letter.

Article Processing Charge

The journal may charge a publication fee. Detailed information is available on the journal website.

Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right to publish the article.

All articles are published under an open access license CC BY 4.0.

Data Availability

Authors are encouraged to:

Ensure access to underlying data;

Provide supplementary materials where necessary.

Author Contributions

Authors must clearly indicate their contributions (e.g., conceptualization, methodology, writing).

ORCID

Authors are encouraged to provide ORCID identifiers to ensure proper attribution.

Submission Checklist

Before submission, authors should ensure that:

The manuscript complies with the journal template;

All figures and tables are properly labeled;

References are correctly formatted;

Ethical requirements are met;

The text has been proofread.

Authors may appeal editorial decisions by contacting the editorial office with a detailed justification.
