Publication Ethics Policy — English

Note: a standalone full “Ethics Policy” page is not currently published on the JMMME website. The following text is structured for the platform from the journal’s official statements on double-blind peer review, high academic quality and publication ethics, the Author Guidelines, and the editorial duties contained in the journal Regulation.

1. Research integrity and originality. Submissions must be original and free from plagiarism. Under the current JMMME plagiarism policy, similarity must not exceed 20% and originality must be at least 80%.

2. No simultaneous submission. The same manuscript should not be under consideration by more than one journal at the same time.

3. Authorship and contributions. Authorship should be limited to persons who made a substantive contribution to the conception, methodology, analysis, or preparation of the manuscript. Funding and other support should be disclosed in Acknowledgments.

4. Accuracy of data and results. Fabrication, falsification, and deliberate misrepresentation of data are unacceptable. Conclusions must be supported by the reported research results.

5. Conflicts of interest. Authors, reviewers, and editors should disclose interests that could affect the objectivity of scientific decisions.

6. Confidentiality and impartiality of peer review. JMMME uses double-blind peer review. Reviewers must keep manuscript content confidential, evaluate work on scientific merit, and must not use unpublished information for personal advantage.

7. Editorial independence. Publication decisions should be based on scientific quality, originality, methodological soundness, relevance, and fit with the journal’s scope.

8. Corrections and actions after publication. If a serious error or research misconduct is identified after publication, the editorial team should investigate and, where appropriate, issue a correction, editorial notice, or retraction.

9. Privacy. Names and email addresses entered on the journal website are used exclusively for the stated purposes of the journal and are not made available for other purposes or to other parties.
