If an error is made in the process of determining the technical parameters of
the vehicles belonging to the commodity position of motor vehicles for cargo transportation,
this, in turn, will lead to the transfer of vehicles to another commodity position or subposition of the commodity position. As a result, cases of non-payment of the specified state
duty are allowed. The development of automatic identification tools is based on the use of
the latest advances in science and technology, starting with attempts to automate manual
recognition functions. Through the use of automatic identification, management systems can
receive the necessary information for the implementation of formalization-processes in real
time and keep track of the work performed and the resources consumed.
The main advantages of RFID technology are:
–high speed and accuracy of reading large volumes of data with the possibility of editing,
deleting and adding information;
–passive transponders (without an autonomous power source) have practically unlimited
service life;
-RFID tags contain a large amount of data and can be intelligent;
-the data recorded on the RFID tag may be encrypted and cannot be accessed by third-party
readers;
-radio frequency tags are reliably protected from external influences and also other
advantages.
Along with the undoubted advantages of RFID, there are also the following
disadvantages:
-impossibility of placement under metal and electrically conductive surfaces;
-the interaction of different tags located in the reader's coverage area at the same time and
also other disadvantages
