The article discusses current aspects of improving the education of undergraduate students of the Kazakh language and literature of the university in the sense of love for the Motherland by the example of studying the works of Kazakh writers of Uzbekistan. Patriotic education and a sense of love for the Motherland are formed in a person throughout his life,starting with an awareness of the importance of participating in political processes, protecting the Motherland and its place in society. In addition to personal values, a person needs other universal values. Today, the main task of teaching our history is to introduce young people to the history of the past of mankind, to fill it with the main achievements of world culture, to educate a citizen who critically analyzes the history of the past, focuses on the future, thinks creatively, and draws the right conclusions from them. And also to work independently with historical facts and constantly replenish your knowledge.
