Дождевой  червь  широко  распротранен  в  почвах  Средней  Азии.  Особенно 
многочисленны  его  виды  во  влажных  почвах,  богатых  гниющими  растительными 
остатками. Они играют  большую  роль  в почвооборазовании и поддержании плодородия 
почвы.  В  статье  рассматривается  практическая  роль  червя  в  образовании  биогумуса  и 
повышении урожая растений.

Earthorms  is widely spread  in  the soil of Central Asia. There are a number of    types of 
earthworms in wet soils, that are full of rotting remains of plants. Earthworms play a vital role in 
the soil formation and stability of soil fertility. Practical role of earthworms  in  the formation of 
humus and rise in the plant harvest is viewed in the article.
