Synthesized and researched by kinetic mechanism, etherification of an ester based on oleic acid and isoamyl alcohol at different initial ratios of the components. Determined is the effect of catalyst on the conversion of the ester. As the catalyst, concentrated sulfuric acid is used. Also, researched is the influence of temperature and duration in the etherification process. Investigation of the influence on the duration of the process of obtaining the ester is determined that the duration significantly affects the yield of the ester. The basic is characteristics of the ester. It was revealed that the synthesized ester is an individual substance of a new and belongs to the class of esters.
