 This article presents the characteristics of transport in complex technical systems and proposes a methodology for modeling the conditions of a transport system. The reliability level of the region’s transport system was assessed and the magnitude of the failure rate from the main components of complex applications was established. A mathematical model was developed to analyze the operation of the transport system and graphically represent the course of events along with a discrete number of probabilistic states of Markov processes. The article also discusses the probability distribution of events expected during operation. The obtained quantitative values ​​turned out to be the basis for making decisions on the compliance of the actual level of reliability of the transport system with the specified characteristics.
