This article presents the results of the analysis of statistical data on accidents
and occupational diseases that occurred at industrial enterprises, and they are evaluated
based on the experience of developed foreign countries, recommendations have been
developed to increase the reliability of statistical data on accidents and occupational
diseases, ways of measures to improve public control have been shown
