Ilmiy maqolada ko‘plab ilmiy ishlar, manbalar, yozma manbalar, arxeologik va etnografik ashyoviy dalillar asosida turli davrlarda juda qadimiy va sharafli tarixiy o‘tmishga ega bo‘lgan Ganja shahri relyefining tarixiy-geografik o‘zgarishiga imkon yaratgan asosiy sabablar, shart-sharoitlar, shuningdek, aholining tarixiy migratsiyasi ko‘rsatilgan.
Mahalliy va xorijiy tadqiqotchilar va arxeologlar tomonidan shaharda so‘nggi ikki asr davomida olib borilgan mahalliy va xalqaro arxeologik-etnografik ekspeditsiya hamda qazishmalar asosida Ganjaning shahar madaniyat markazi sifatidagi tarixiy-xronologik yoshi va uning turli bosqichlardagi harakati o‘rganildi. Ilmiy ishda birinchi marta tegishli ilmiy manbalar, rad etib bo‘lmaydigan hujjatlar va qo‘lyozmalar asosida Ganja shahrining tarixiy-geografik ko‘chishlari ketma-ketligi tuzilgan, arxeologik va etnografik materiallar haqidagi ma’lumotlar xronologik davrlashtirishga muvofiq aks ettirilgan, shuningdek, tarixiy kamida besh marta kuzatilgan shaharlarning ko‘chish davrlari bilan bog‘liq yodgorliklar, moddiy madaniyat namunalari haqida yoritib berilgan. Maqolada Ganja shahrining koʻchishidan dalolat beruvchi koʻplab tarixiy turar-joylarning soni, tuzilishi va xususiyatlari koʻrib chiqilib, ushbu hududlardan topilgan turli bosqichlarga mansub meʼmoriy yodgorliklar, hunarmandchilik buyumlari oʻrganilgan.
В научной статье на основе многочисленных научных трудов, источников, письменных источников, археологических и этнографических материальных свидетельств изучены основные причины, условия, сделавшие возможным историко-географическое изменение местности города в разное время, а также исторического переселения города Гянджа, имеющего очень древнее и почетное историческое прошлое. На основе местных и международных археолого-этнографических экспедиций и раскопок, проведенных местными и зарубежными исследователями и археологами на территории города в течение последних двух столетий, историко-хронологический возраст Гянджи как городского культурного центра и его перемещения на разных этапах были исследованы со ссылкой на научные данные. В научной работе впервые составлена последовательность историко-географических переселенний города Гянджа на основе соответствующих научных источников, неопровержимых документов и рукописей, отражены сведения об археологических и этнографических материалах в соответствии с хронологической периодизацией, как а также памятники истории, образцы материальной культуры, относящиеся к периодам перемещений города, которые наблюдались не менее пяти раз. В статье рассмотрены количество, структура и характеристики его многочисленных исторических жилых кварталов, выступающих свидетельством переселений города Гянджи, были изучены наряду с обнаруженными в этих районах архитектурными памятниками, ремесленными изделиями, относящимися к разным этапам.

In scientific paper on the basis of numerous scientific works, the reasons for the displacement of Ganja city, which has a very ancient and honorable historical past, at different times, the conditions that made possible the historical and geographical change of the area, the sources, written sources, archaeological and ethnographic material evidence are studied. Based on various local and international archaeological and ethnographic expeditions and excavations conducted by local and foreign researchers and archaeologists in the territory of city over the past two centuries, the historical and chronological age of Ganja as an urban cultural center and its movement at different stages of the indicators were studied with reference to scientific data. In the scientific work, for the first time a sequence of historical and geographical movements of the city of Ganja was compiled on the basis of relevant scientific sources, irrefutable documents and manuscripts of the modern stage in accordance with chronological periodization, as well as historical monuments, samples of material culture related to the periods of city movements that were observed at least five times, reflects information about archaeological and ethnographic materials. In article have been considered the number, structure and characteristics of its many historical residential quarters, which are evidence of the movements of Ganja city, along with the immovable architectural monuments found in these areas, handicrafts belonging to different stages were studied.
