Производные бензимидазола — универсальные азотсодержащие гетероциклические соединения, с давных времен известен как многообещающий класс биологически активных веществ. Очень многие производные бензимидазола обладають широким спектром биологической и фармакологической (такой как антибактериальной, противовоспалительной, противоязвенной, антидиабетической и т.д.) активностью. Настоящая статья охватывает строению и фармакологическую активность замещенных безимидазолов.

Benzimidazole derivatives are universal nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds that have long been known as a promising class of biologically active substances. Very many benzimidazole derivatives have a wide range of biological and pharmacological (such as antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiulcer, antidiabetic, etc.) activities. This article covers the structure and pharmacological activity of substituted bezimidazoles.
