In saw ginning, the main process of separating fiber from the seed is the interaction
of the saw tooth with the grate, as well as the angle between the saw tooth and the grate. Which affects
the performance of the saw gin, which is tell in our article and the optimal angle between the new
cantilever grate and the saw of tooth is propose. Analysis of the data shows with increasing angle of
meeting of the saw tooth with the surface of the grate, the force of the dynamic impact increases. This
is obviously associated with processes caused by the mode of fiber removal and friction of the fiber on
the front edge of the saw tooth. Experiment confirms hypothesis about the possibility of reducing the
angle of inclination of the front edge of the saw tooth γ while improving the conditions for removing
fiber from the tooth, while maintaining the ginning condition choice of angle θ, it can be adjusted by
changing the inclination of the grate since according to the work this will not lead to large changes in
fiber separation.
