This paper examines strategies for enhancing competitiveness in Uzbekistan's oil and gas sector through the integration of technological innovation, regulatory framework improvements, and strategic responses to market dynamics. The oil and gas industry represents a significant component of Uzbekistan's economy, accounting for approximately 7.5% of the country's GDP. However, the sector faces substantial challenges including outdated infrastructure, regulatory rigidity, and increasing global competition. Using comprehensive analysis of industry practices and international experience, this research proposes practical approaches to improve operational efficiency, attract foreign investment, and develop local supply chains. The findings indicate that technological advancement through digital transformation and artificial intelligence, coupled with regulatory reforms aimed at transparency and predictability, can significantly enhance sector performance. The research also emphasizes the importance of international partnerships and market adaptability in positioning Uzbekistan favorably in the evolving global energy landscape.
