Бугунги кунда ер юзида содир бўлаётган глобал иқлим ўзгаришлари республикамиз ҳудудида етиштирилаётган қишлоқ хўжалиги экинлари ҳосилдорлиги ва сифатига ўз салбий таъсирини кўрсатмоқда. Айниқса, сўнгги йилларда об-ҳавонинг кескин ўзгариши, кетма-кет қурғоқчилик бўлиши, йиллик ёғин миқдорининг ўртача кўп йиллик ёғин миқдорига нисбатан анча кам бўлаётгани, баҳор ойлари охирида кузатилаётган кучли иссиқ ҳарорат лалмикор майдонлар шароитида етиштирилаётган кузги юмшоқ буғдой ўсиши ва ривожланиши, дон ҳосилдорлиги ва унинг сифатига жиддий зарар етказмоқда. Юқоридагиларни инобатга олиб, лалмикор майдонлар тупроқ иқлим шароитига мос бўлган, сувсизликка чидамли кузги юмшоқ буғдойнинг (Triticum aestivum L.) янги нав ва тизмаларини танлаш илмий тадқиқоти давомида 35 та нав ва тизмалар синовдан ўтказилди. Тадқиқот ўтказилган минтақанинг об-ҳаво шароитлари маълумотлари билан нав ва тизмалар хусусиятлари таққослаб баҳоланди. Тадқиқот давомида кузги юмшоқ буғдойнинг ривожланиш фазалари, биометрик кўрсаткичлари, ҳосилдорлик элементлари, дон сифат кўрсаткичлари, ўсув фазаларида баргдаги хлорофилл миқдори, нормаллаштирилган фарқ вегетация индекси (NDVI – Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) каби кўрсаткичлари баҳоланиб, қимматли хусусиятлари юқори бўлган тизмалар танлаб олинди.
