Операцион ўрнатишни узоқ муддатли кузатишлар натижаларига асосланган статистик таҳлил ва баҳолаш, оптимал ишончлиликни прогнозлаш ва нормаллаштириш, уларни яратиш ва ишлатиш жараёнида техник ечимларни оқилона танлаш ҳар қандай мураккаб техник объектларда бўлгани каби СCПС ишончлилиги масаласининг амалий вазифаси ҳисобланади. Мақолада темир йўл ўзиюрар ҳаракатланувчи таркиблар электр қурилмаларидан фойдаланишда уни таъминлаш бўйича ишончлилик ҳисоблари, техник ечимларни танлашнинг таҳлили ва баҳоси келтирилган. Ишончлилик назарияси ҳамда оптимал ечимларнинг стандарт ва махсус услубларидан фойдаланган ҳолда, амалий масалани ҳал қилиш (ечиш) намунаси кўриб чиқилган. Ҳар қандай реал иш шароитлари учун дастлабки ресурсни йиғиш ва техник хизмат кўрсатишнинг оптимал частотасини белгилашда вагоннинг синхрон генератори ишончлилигини тахмин қилиш имконини берадиган боғлиқликнинг математик модели аниқланган.
