Konchilik sanoatining rivojlanishi ruda va ma’dan konlari mahsulotlarini maydalash va qayta ishlash uchun zarur bo‘ladigan yangi talablarning ortishi bilan namoyon bo‘ladi. Bu esa qazilma mahsulotlarini maydalash va qayta ishlashda qo‘llaniladigan maydalovchi po‘lat zoldirlarni ishlab chiqarishga bo‘lgan talabning ortishi bilan bog‘liq. Maydalovchi po‘lat zoldirlarni ishlab chiqarish amaliyoti aylanuvchi kalta jismlarni prokatlash uchun mo‘ljallangan ikki valokli prokatlash stanlarida amalga oshirilgan. Ushbu zoldir prokatlash stanlari, asosan, yuqori va o‘rta uglerodli po‘lat xomashyolardan ma’lum diametrga ega po‘lat zoldirlar ishlab chiqarish uchun mo‘ljallangan. Maqolada yuqori uglerodli po‘latdan yasalgan maydalovchi po‘lat zoldirlarni issiqligida prokatlash usuli orqali ishlab chiqarish bo‘yicha respublikamizda amalga oshirilayotgan ilmiy izlanishlarning nazariy yechimlari va amaliy natijalari tahlili keltirilgan. Shuningdek, prokatlash jarayonini amalga oshirish uchun eng muhim bo‘lgan kalibrlash texnologiyasi ishlab chiqilgan. Zoldirlar diametri o‘zgarishi va vintli kalibrlarning kirimlar soni turlicha bo‘lgan hollarda, zoldir prokatlash valoklarini kalibrlash texnologiyasining bir-biridan farq qilishi nazariy va amaliy jihatdan asoslab berilgan. Bunda kalibrlash texnologiyasi uchun zaruriy ma’lumotlar prokatlash stanining texnik parametrlari bo‘yicha ishlab chiqilgan. Aniq geometrik o‘lchamlar asosida olingan zoldir prokatlash valoklarida o‘zgaruvchan markazli ariqchalarga ega vintli sirtlarni kesish uchun maxsus nusxa ko‘chirish moslamasi bilan jihozlangan tokarlik vint qirqish dastgohida qirqish amaliyoti bajarilgan.
