Tadqiqotlar Toshkent, Samarqand, Xorazm va Qashqadaryo viloyatlarida egatlab va tomchilatib sug'orish texnologiyalarida sifatli urug'lik chigit yetishtirish agrotexnologiyasini ishlab chiqish bo'yicha olib borilgan. Bunda Toshkent viloyatining sug'oriladigan tipik bo'z tuproqlari sharoitida 'Sulton' va 'O'zPITI-103', Xorazm viloyatining o'tloqi allyuvial tuproqlarida 'Xorazm-150' va 'C-8294' (Gurlan) urug'lik g'o'za navlarini egatlab sug'orish texnologiyasida maqbul sug'orish va oziqlantirish fonida yetishtirilganda urug'lik paxta hosilini 3,5-4,5 s/ga oshirishga, zamonaviy (WFD) sug'orish asbobidan foydalanib sug'orish hisobiga 10-15% suv tejalishiga erishilgan. Samarqand viloyatida tomchilatib sug'oriladigan g'o'za maydonlaridan sifatli urug'lik chigit yetishtirish agrotexnologiyasi ishlab chiqilib, tezpishar o'rta tolali g'o'za navlarida urug'lik paxta hosilini 3-hosil shoxidan 9-hosil shoxigacha terish mumkinligi ilmiy asoslangan va umumiy hosilga nisbatan urug'lik paxta hosilini 46,4% dan 51,5% gacha yetkazishga erishilgan. Qashqadaryo viloyatining o'tloqlashib borayotgan taqirsimon tuproqlari sharoitida ingichka tolali Termiz-202 va Surxon-16 g'o'za navlarini CHDNSga nisbatan 70-75-65% sug'orish oldi tuproq namligida sug'orish va N-250, R-175, K-125 kg/ga me'yorda oziqlantirish maqbul ekanligi aniqlanib, urug'lik paxta hosilini 4,7-6,6 s/ga oshirishga erishilgan.
