The article is devoted to various ways of implication of obligatory semantic roles of the Causer and Experiment in statements containing of emotive verbs of the modern Russian language such as волноваться, тревожиться, беспокоиться, раздражаться, пугаться, страшиться, ужасаться. The cases of implication are determined by the communicative-pragmatic structure of the utterance, the type and nature of implicit information and the focus of the speaker's attention, as well as by the processes of semantic derivation. The implication of the semantic role of the Causator in utterances with reflexive emotive verbs is due to 1) a communicative-pragmatic device of utterance, namely: the type and nature of implicit information and the speaker’s focus of attention; 2) processes of semantic derivation. The communicative-pragmatic structure of the statement determines the type and nature of implicit information, the presence of which highlights the role of the speaker / listener and the inexpressibility of the cause in statements with the verbs is being studied. An important component of the communicative-pragmatic device of utterance is the speaker’s focus of attention, the direction of which can be different. The process of semantic derivation determines the use of the verb in the meaning of 'imitation of the emotional state'. The implication of the semantic role of the experiment is less frequent than the implication of the semantic role of Causator, and is due to the focus of the speaker’s attention. Under an implicit experiment, the speaker’s attention is focused on the semantic role of Causator.
