The spiritual heritage that written by Alisher Navoi is valuable as base of Uzbek national language for many centyries. In this article, the food names in the Alisher Navoi’s work are analyzed through the linguistics, especially dish names are learned through historical-etymological, genealogical, lexical-semantic aspects and, also is noted the important informations related to Uzbek language history. The food names in the Alisher Navoi’s work are determined to the Turkic language. The factors for the development of self-referenced vocabulary, as well as, the inflection methods of dish names are defined. It is also discussed the loan words which are come to the Turkic language from the Persian, Arabic and other languages and they are the external sources of to the Uzbek languages. The dish names are analyzed thematic groups in this article. As well as, the historical and modern positions of food names are compared.
