Annotation. The article presents the results of studies to identify the optimal time for sowing seeds of a new vegetable culture-indau for the conditions of Uzbekistan. It was revealed that the best sowing dates in spring are March 1. In this period of sowing, the productivity of the Indau was 3.3 kg / m2 or 33.0 t / ha. The best time for sowing seeds in autumn is September 10. Our biggest Indau yield was noted in this sowing period and amounted to 6.0 kg / m2 or 60.0 t / ha.
