ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
Background. At present, qunoline derivatives occupy a special place among biologically active heterocyclic compounds widely used in medicine and agriculture. The drug "Chloroquine", one of the main drugs used in the treatment of СOVID-19, contains a quinoline core at the base of the molecule. Modification of quinolone alkaloids, which are found in large quantities in plants of the Rutaceae, is one of the promising areas of modern scientific research. Purpose. Synthesis of amides of 6ʹ-aminodubamine, obtained on the basis of the 2-arylquinoline alkaloid dubamine, with various aromatic acids. Methodology.Synthesis of amides based on 6ʹ-aminodubamine was carried out by 2 methods. The structure of the synthesized compounds is proved bymodern physical and chemical methods. Originality. The synthesis of 6ʹ-aminodubamine amides with aromatic acids was carried out for the first time. Findings. The synthesis of 2-(4ʹ,5ʹ-methylenedioxin-2ʹ-(N-arylamido) was carried out with high yields(60.4-80.1%).)-phenyl)-quinolines, the structure of the synthesized substances was proved using IR, mass, 1H, and 13C NMR spectroscopic methods. Highlights: - synthesized 2-(4ʹ,5ʹ-methylenedioxin-2ʹ-(N-arylamido)-phenyl)-quinolines; - the effect of the reagent (thionyl chloride) on the synthesis of amides was studied; - the structure of the synthesized compounds was determined using IR, mass, 1 H, and 13 C NMR spectroscopic methods.
