ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
It was found that the disease susceptibility of strawberry varieties depends on their genetic characteristics, agrotechnical measures and external environmental conditions. The variety “Santa” is sensitive to Botrytis (gray mold) and Verticillium diseases, and 0.3% and 2.0% damage was observed in 2017-2018, respectively. The “Seolhyang” variety was fully resistant to Botrytis. The effectiveness of agrotechnical measures has been proven, and the rate of Verticilliosis in the “Maehyang” variety decreased from 1.7% in 2018-2019 to 0.5% in 2019-2020. The results confirm that effective care methods and optimal agrotechnical approaches play an important role in reducing the spread of diseases.
