ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
. This article presents the results of a study to determine changes in vegetation cover on rainfed soils in the Zarkent area of the Parkent district of the Tashkent region using the normalized difference index (NDVI). It is known that in mountainous areas, uneven terrain, slopes and erosion levels further increase the risk of erosion. In turn, the NDVI indicator determines the moisture content of the soil surface (directly) and the presence of healthy plants. Wide use of the results obtained will allow systematic anti-erosion measures to be carried out in the study area.
