The article deals with the organization of classes on learning Russian as a non-native/foreign language, based on the use of technologies of a collective method of learning. The main directions of the language teaching methodology and their implementation have been reviewed. According to the author, among all available methods, the most universal is training in collaboration using the method of working in small groups. The author justifies and presents his/her vision of the possibilities of this method, on the basis of which he/she offers a program for organizing the lesson, taking into account the goals and tasks, highlighting each item in the preparation process step-by-step. The author also provides an example of one of the stages of the lesson using graphic organizers for visual representation of information analysis. At the same time, it is noted that the use of this technique in the Uzbek environment has its own characteristics and has proven itself for its socially significant nature. The result of the competent application of this method, according to the author, is not only the development and consolidation of new knowledge but also the ability to work in a team, the disclosure of the creative potential of students, the removal of the language and psychological barrier.
