The innovations of Ch. Aytmatov and the problems of theatrical interpretation of his works on the theatrical stage should be studied in theater studies as a special direction in the transformation of the epic heritage in the modern theater. With good reason, it can be said that the writer’s quest, his innovations in literature stimulated creative thought in the theater arts. In a number of theaters in the region, after the release of works such as “The Day Lasts More Than a Hundred Years”, “White Cloud of Genghis Khan”, “The White Steamboat”, «Spotted Dog Running On Seashore»,“The Scaffold”, interesting performances were staged, which should be considered as stage interpretation of the epic through the prism of Ch.Aytmatov`s creativity.
