This article examines the historical and theoretical foundations of stage speech in Uzbek theatrical comedies. It analyzes the ancient traditional roots of professional Uzbek theater, oral dramaturgy, and the development of folk comedy through stage speech. It emphasizes the artistic function of satire and humor in the comedy genre, as well as the role of actor's speech in exposing social vices through laughter.
