The results of ecological variety testing of carrot samples in the soil and climatic conditions of the south of Surkhandarya region are presented. The experiments were carried out in the period 2023 in the fields of the Surkhandarya Research and Experimental Station of the Research Institute of Vegetable and Melon Crops and Potatoes. The most productive samples were Imperator – 43.75 t/ha and the Faravon standard – 50.5 t/ha. The marketability of root crops was higher in the samples of Maskovskaya zimnaya A515 – 90%, Imperator – 85.5%. The isolated samples can be recommended for commercial production in the Surkhandarya region and used in breeding work as a source material.
