TURLI KO‘CHAT QALINLIKLARIDA YETISHTIRILGAN O‘RTA TOLALI S-7303 GO‘ZA NAVIDA BAYSTAR DEFOLIANTINING SAMARADORLIGINI ASOSLASH

This article presents the effectiveness of the soft-acting defoliant Baystar on the medium-fiber cotton variety S-7303. The study was conducted when 45-50% of the bolls were opened, with plant densities set at 70-80, 100-110, and 130 140 thousand plants/ha. Correspondingly, defoliant application rates of 0.500, 0.600 and 0.700 l/ha were used. The results showed that the application of the defoliant accelerated leaf drop and boll opening, which contributed to an increase in cotton yield and the share of the first harvest. The highest efficiency was observed at a plant density of 100–110 thousand plants/ha with a defoliant rate of 0.600 l/ha.
