This thesis presents recommendations for the analysis and practical application of knowledge in the field of cynology, breeding, and dog physiology. Methods for selecting dogs based on conditioned reflex activity based on genotype, types of higher nervous activity (HNA), their description and characteristics, selection methods, the use of conditioned stimuli, and motivational factors are discussed. Strong and weak HNA types, their characteristics, as well as the presence of hybrid HNA types and which HNA types should be preferred for selection are described. Based on observations, the significance of HNA types for improving the effectiveness of selection and training is analyzed.
