The study presents a comparative analysis of the productivity and morphological characteristics of winter wheat varieties developed in the Republic and introduced from abroad under irrigated conditions. The field experiment was conducted in four replications, and for each variety, plant height, spike length, number of spikelets and grains per spike, grain weight per spike, and the weight of 1000 grains were determined. According to the results, the Mars 1 and Bobur varieties demonstrated the highest yield components. The indicators of the Chillaki (St) variety corresponded to the standard and served as a control for comparison. In general, the selection of high-yielding varieties adapted to local conditions provides an opportunity to increase the efficiency of winter wheat cultivation.
