QORAQALPOG‘ISTONNING TUPROQ-IQLIM SHAROITI VA UNGA MOS RAVISHDA OLTINSIMON QORAG‘ATNI KO‘PAYTIRISH

This article provides a scientific analysis of the soil and climatic conditions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the possibilities of cultivating golden currant (Ribes aureum Pursh) under these conditions. The desert–semi-desert climate of the region, soil types, amount of precipitation, and duration of the vegetation period are compared with the biological characteristics of the plant, highlighting their compliance with agrotechnical requirements. The high adaptability of golden currant, its resistance to cold and drought, as well as its rich content of biologically active substances are emphasized, on the basis of which the advantages of introducing this crop in the conditions of Karakalpakstan are demonstrated.
