This study investigates the infection of seedless grape varieties by powdery mildew (oidium), observed on the leaves and grape clusters. Special attention is given to the resistance of seedless grape varieties to the grape mealybug (Pseudococcus citri Risso). In recent years, vineyards have suffered significant damage from various types of pests, which has substantially reduced both yield and quality of the produce. Among the many vine pests, the most harmful are the grape mealybug, Comstock scale, Shingil scale, grape aphid, grape cicada, and the acacia false scale. These pests primarily damage young leaves, shoots, and grape clusters, causing considerable negative effects on vine growth and development.
