The article notes that, according to research conducted in 2022-2024 in the Tashkent region to study poplar pests, the main pests are the California scale insect, the poplar leafhopper, the urban longhorned beetle, the large poplar, and the small poplar. The main sucking and rodent pests of poplar include the California scale insect, the poplar leafhopper, the urban longhorned beetle, the large poplar glasswing, and the small poplar glasswing. For protection against scale insects, aphids, tubular borers, and leafhoppers, Ovipron 2000 cap.c. (10-15 l/ha), Product No. 30. When testing products based on a 76% oil emulsion (40-100 l/ha), a biological effectiveness of 88.2-89.1% was achieved, preventing infestations by these pests.
