This study was aimed at assessing the resistance of grape collection samples to one of the most harmful diseases in viticulture — powdery mildew (Oidium). The research was conducted on 26 samples of technical grape varieties and hybrids from the collection of the Scientific research institute of plant genetic resources. The results of the study identify genetic sources conferring resistance to powdery mildew and serve as a basis for breeding programs aimed at developing environmentally friendly, high-quality grape varieties that do not require chemical protection.
