This article presents a literature review on the importance, morphology, cultivation technology, and significance of coriander (Coriandrum sativum L.) in folk medicine, as well as research results on the impact of sowing depth on plant growth and development under field conditions. The research findings revealed that for the “Orzu” variety of coriander, sowing at a depth of 1-2 cm resulted in a germination rate of 86%, which was 11% higher than when sown at a depth of 2-3 cm. Based on these results, the optimal sowing depth was determined.
