DORIVOR GULBANDLI KIYIKO‘T (ZIZIPHORA PEDICELLATA PAZIJ ET VVED) URUG‘LARINI LABORATORIYA SHAROITIDA UNUVCHANLIGINI ANIQLASH

This article investigates the morphological, bioecological, and seed germination characteristics of Ziziphora pedicellata Pazij et Vved, a perennial species belonging to the Lamiaceae family. The study provides information on the plant’s natural distribution areas, ecological conditions, medicinal properties, and its importance in traditional medicine. The research was conducted at the Laboratory of Medicinal Plants of Tashkent State Agrarian University, where the seed germination rate was tested under different temperature conditions. According to the experimental results, the optimal germination temperature of Ziziphora pedicellata seeds under laboratory conditions was found to be +25°C, with a germination rate of 92%. At +30°C, no germination occurred, which can be attributed to the disruption of metabolic processes caused by heat stress. Therefore, it is recommended that the germination and cultivation of this species in field conditions be carried out at temperatures above +15°C.
