FROM UZBEK FOLK SONGS IN MUSIC CULTURE LESSONS USAGE METHODOLOGY

This article analyzes, from a scientific and pedagogical perspective, the methodology of using Uzbek folk melodies and songs in music culture lessons conducted in general secondary education schools. During the research process, the role and significance of folk melodies and songs in developing students’ national values, aesthetic taste, and musical thinking are highlighted. In addition, the article examines effective methods of using examples of folk music in the educational process, modern pedagogical approaches to organizing lessons, and methodological recommendations. It is scientifically substantiated that Uzbek folk songs can contribute to the development of students’ musical hearing ability, their sense of rhythm, their skills of collective singing, and their respect for national culture. Furthermore, the article emphasizes that the use of folk music in music culture classes plays an important role in increasing students’ creative activity, developing their artistic thinking, and strengthening their interest in art.
