THE ROLE OF LEGAL EDUCATION IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF A LEGAL STATE AND CIVIL SOCIETY

This article scientifically and theoretically analyzes the role and significance of legal education in the process of building a rule-of-law state and civil society. The essence of the concept of legal education, as well as its role in shaping legal awareness and legal culture, is highlighted. The study includes statistical analyses based on data from the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the United Nations Development Programme, and the 'Social Thought' Center. The article analyzes, using figures, the level of citizens' legal literacy, the practice of seeking legal assistance, and the scope of legal education activities conducted with youth. Additionally, scientifically based proposals and recommendations for improving the legal education system have been developed.
