ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
The article presents the results of studying the effect of an alternating magnetic field with amplitude modulation of medium frequency on the number and composition of immunocompetent cells in experimental animals. Magnetic fields are widespread physical factors of the modern environment and are actively used in medical practice, which requires evaluation of their biological safety. The aim of the study was to assess changes in immune cell populations after magnetic field exposure. Quantitative and qualitative analysis of immunocompetent cells in peripheral blood and lymphoid organs was performed. The results demonstrated a decrease in lymphocyte count and alterations in immune cell ratios. These findings indicate an immunomodulatory effect of the magnetic field.
