ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
This paper analyzes modern methods for improving the performance characteristics of bitumen and asphalt concrete materials. The study investigates the potential for enhancing the physicomechanical and rheological properties of bitumen through the use of polymer additives, nanoparticles, and recycled materials. The strength, water resistance, and stability of asphalt concrete mixtures at high and low temperatures were evaluated based on experimental tests. The results demonstrate that the use of modified bitumen increases deformation resistance, reduces cracking risk, and extends pavement service life. Furthermore, the application of environmentally efficient technologies makes it possible to reduce production costs and minimize negative environmental impacts. The findings contribute to improving the efficiency of using innovative materials in road construction
