This scientific article shows gender differences and similarities between men and women in family and educational institutions. This, in turn, helps ensure the effectiveness of the educational process. At the same time, attention is focused on stabilizing gender relations in the family and educational institutions. It was emphasized that young people should have the necessary knowledge before starting a family. The principles of legality, democracy, openness and transparency, equal rights of women and men, non-discrimination on the basis of gender, and mutual understanding play an important role in ensuring gender equality. The essence of these principles to ensure the equality of women and men, regardless of race, nationality, language, religion, social origin, faith, personal and social status, has been revealed.
