This article analyzes linear production models and numerical methods used in their solution. The practical application of methods such as the simplex approach, two-stage method, and artificial basis is considered. The role of computer technologies in optimizing production processes is also highlighted. The possibilities of solving problems based on LINGO, MATLAB, Excel Solver, and Python are studied, and convenient methods for analyzing the results are shown. The study offers practical approaches to the effective allocation of resources and optimal planning using linear models.
