In this article, the process by which an actor in musical theatre transitions from a dramatic state to an aria, the stage-related and musical emergence of the aria, and its dramaturgical function are examined on the basis of scientific and theoretical principles. The study analyzes the organic interconnection between dramatic action and musical expression, the actor’s inner experiences, psychophysical state, and the integration of vocal and acting techniques.
